Karma is a free, non-profit tool. We collect as little data as possible and we never monetize your information.
1. Data We Collect
- Account Information: We store your email, nickname, and profile image (via Google Auth or manual upload) to identify you and connect you with your partner.
- Shared Budget Data: We store the amounts, descriptions, and categories of the items you record to calculate your shared balance.
2. No Monetization
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data. This service is free and non-commercial. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking across other sites.
3. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the app is used. This tool is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not store personal data, and is fully GDPR compliant.
4. Security and storage
Your data is secured using industry-standard encryption and Row Level Security (RLS) provided by Supabase. Your financial data is only accessible to you and the person joined to your "Couple".
5. Your Rights
Since we follow GDPR principles, you have the right to access, export, or delete your data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the application settings.
